Additionally, we encourage you to review the following first-year success opportunities with your student:

  • RPI CSTEP is an academic enrichment program designed to support New York State residents who are economically disadvantaged and pursuing careers in STEM, various licensed professions and/or health-related fields. Visit the CSTEP website to learn more about the services available through the program and the link to the online RPI CSTEP application.
  • Project Kaleidoscope is a 10-day transition program that encompasses an early residential program for participants to develop academic, social, and life skills through mentoring, access to academic support resources, and enrichment seminars that focus on excelling in the uniquely demanding RPI environment.

If you or your student has questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Office of the First-Year Experience at fye@rpi.edu or 518-276-6864.
